Key Responsibilities- Assist senior academic and research staff in conducting pharmaceutical and biomedical research projects.
- Participate in laboratory experiments, data collection, analysis, and documentation within the Drug Research and Production Unit.
- Support undergraduate teaching activities, including laboratory demonstrations, tutorials, and grading.
- Prepare research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentation at academic conferences.
- Contribute to the administrative duties and day-to-day operations of the department and research unit.
- Pursue higher academic degrees (Master's and Ph.D.) as required for career progression within the university system.
- Possess a good honours Bachelor's degree with at least a Second-Class Upper Division (or equivalent) in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Chemistry, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Demonstrable evidence of strong academic potential, intellectual curiosity, and a keen interest in pharmaceutical research.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written or verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
