Key Responsibilities- Assist faculty members in teaching, conducting tutorials, and grading assignments within the department.
- Provide basic counselling support and guidance services to undergraduate students under supervision.
- Participate actively in departmental research projects, seminars, and academic workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of student counselling sessions and academic progress while ensuring confidentiality.
- Perform administrative duties and other academic support tasks assigned by the Head of Department.
- Possess a good honours Bachelor's degree with at least a Second-Class Upper Division (or equivalent) in Counselling, Psychology, or a related relevant discipline.
- Demonstrate clear evidence of strong academic potential, scholarly aptitude, and a keen interest in academic research.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills suitable for student engagement.
- Must have completed or be currently undergoing the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program where applicable.
