Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons in Government to students in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and evaluate instructional materials and lesson plans to suit diverse learning styles.
- Maintain effective classroom management to create a conducive, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and regular reports on academic performance.
- Encourage critical thinking and active participation among students regarding civic duties and political structures.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular school activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and academic milestones.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.A., or B.Sc in Government, Political Science, or a closely related relevant subject.
- Previous teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting will be an added advantage.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern classroom management techniques.
- Must be self-driven, highly dedicated, and deeply passionate about the teaching profession.
- Must currently reside within Awka, Anambra State, to ensure seamless commute and punctuality.
