About the Role

We are currently seeking an exceptional Global Humanitarian Director to shape and drive our international humanitarian ambition, ensuring high-quality crisis response and resilience building reach those most in need at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of Plan International's global humanitarian strategy, driving our evolution as a dual-mandate organisation.
- Strengthen regional and country-level capability to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from complex crises.
- Oversee humanitarian programme quality, effectiveness, risk management, safeguarding, and adherence to recognised international standards.
- Build strategic partnerships with governments, donors, UN agencies, and civil society organisations to advance locally led humanitarian action.
- Collaborate with finance and global affairs teams to secure sustainable humanitarian financing and drive organisational growth.
- Extensive senior leadership experience within complex international humanitarian and development organisations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale humanitarian programmes across multiple regions and countries.
- Deep expertise in humanitarian financing, donor engagement, strategic partnerships, and organisational transformation.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, representation, negotiation, and cross-cultural leadership skills.
