About the Role
Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited is a leading indigenous multidisciplinary organization delivering world-class Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) services to the dynamic oil and gas sector in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Geoscientist to join our growing technical team and contribute to our expanding offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze geological, geophysical, and geochemical data to evaluate offshore exploration and production sites.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to support offshore construction and installation activities.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, geological maps, cross-sections, and 3D models for stakeholder review.
- Conduct risk assessments and site characterization studies to ensure the safety and feasibility of offshore projects.
- Monitor drilling and survey operations, providing real-time geological interpretations and recommendations.
- Ensure all geoscience activities comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and company safety policies.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience in a geoscientist role, preferably within the Nigerian oil and gas or offshore EPCI sector.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard geological and geophysical interpretation software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, report-writing, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Deep understanding of offshore operations, HSE standards, and regulatory frameworks in Nigeria.
