About the Role
Genesis Group, a leading Nigerian catering, hospitality, and entertainment conglomerate, is seeking a dynamic and integrity-driven General Manager, Internal Control - IC & QSR to join our executive leadership team in Port Harcourt. With over two decades of delivering exceptional products and services across our industrial catering, restaurants, cinemas, and real estate business units, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and financial governance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and review robust internal control frameworks across our Industrial Catering (IC) and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business units.
- Identify operational and financial risks, developing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records, inventory management, supply chain processes, and operational procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and statutory financial requirements in Nigeria.
- Collaborate with executive management and department heads to improve operational efficiency and financial transparency.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the internal control team to ensure thorough oversight and proactive fraud prevention.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and actionable recommendations for the Board of Directors and senior management.
- Minimum of 10 years cognizant experience in internal control, audit, or risk management within the hospitality, QSR, or catering industry.
- Must be a resident of Port Harcourt or willing to relocate prior to resumption.
- Active Associate membership in recognized professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA, CISA, or CIA.
