About the Role
Genesis Group, a leading Nigerian hospitality and entertainment conglomerate, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager of Facility Management to oversee our hotel and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations in Port Harcourt. In this strategic executive role, you will direct comprehensive facility management, maintenance schedules, and operational standards to ensure world-class service delivery across our properties. You will champion our commitment to exceptional customer experiences while driving operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end facility management and maintenance operations for hotels, restaurants, and entertainment complexes.
- Develop and implement robust maintenance policies, preventative maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
- Manage vendor relationships, service level agreements, procurement, and facility budgets to optimize operational costs.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory standards, health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate cross-functional facilities and hospitality teams to foster an ownership mindset and high performance.
- Coordinate closely with other business units to support seamless execution of guest services and corporate events.
- Minimum of 10 years of cognizant leadership experience in facility management within the hospitality, hotel, or QSR industry.
- Must currently reside in Port Harcourt or be fully prepared for immediate relocation.
- Demonstrated passion for hospitality with high ethical standards and an ownership mindset.
- Relevant professional certification or associate membership with bodies such as ICAN, ACCA, CISA, CIA, or NIIT is an advantage.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale facility operations and multidisciplinary teams.
