About the Role
Stransact Talent Vault, on behalf of our client—a fast-growing Nigerian beverage manufacturer—is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead a pivotal corporate transformation from a founder-run enterprise into a market-leading public institution. Reporting directly to the Owner and Board, you will take complete ownership of the company's overall strategy, P&L, cash flow, organizational culture, and control environment. Your primary mandate is dual: restore the business to sustainable profitability while meticulously building the robust governance and operational record that public market scrutiny demands.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the overarching corporate strategy to ensure sustainable business growth and long-term profitability.
- Take full ownership of the company P&L, cash flow management, financial performance, and risk mitigation.
- Lead organizational restructuring and lean operations to optimize efficiency across all business units.
- Establish rigorous internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks in preparation for capital markets.
- Foster a high-performance, accountable company culture that aligns with institutional standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is strictly required.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience within the FMCG or beverage manufacturing industry.
- At least 5 years of executive leadership experience in General Management with full P&L accountability.
- Proven, demonstrable track record in business turnarounds, operational restructuring, or lean management.
- Prior capital-markets, IPO, or corporate transaction exposure will be a strong added advantage.
