About the Role
Eden Solutions & Resources Ltd is recruiting an experienced, commercially minded, and highly competent General Manager to lead the overall operations, performance, and growth of our multiple supermarket locations in Nigeria. This senior leadership role is designed for a strategic, hands-on professional who can coordinate multiple branches, drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, and ensure consistent excellence across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction across all supermarket branches to achieve business growth and profitability.
- Supervise Branch Managers, Store Managers, and department heads while driving staff productivity and accountability.
- Monitor the performance of all branches, tracking sales targets, KPIs, budgets, and operational performance indicators.
- Ensure effective inventory management, stock control, replenishment, and reduction of stock losses.
- Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, pricing, and product availability to maintain optimal margins.
- Establish and enforce operational policies, procedures, cash management controls, and health and safety standards.
- Identify underperforming branches and implement actionable corrective plans.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to ensure seamless business execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant management experience, with a strong background in retail, supermarket, FMCG, or multi-branch operations.
- Proven track record of managing multiple outlets and large teams successfully.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, P&L management, and profitability analysis.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
