About the Role
Marquise Energy Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering and EPC services, dedicated to helping critical industries streamline operations, reduce risks, and achieve their strategic project goals. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Gauge Specialist to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will be responsible for gathering accurate bottom-hole pressure and temperature (BHP&T) data and reservoir fluid samples to support essential reservoir and production engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities- Program, calibrate, and make up memory gauges for static, flowing-gradient, and build-up surveys.
- Plan survey stops and deploy gauges efficiently on slickline operations.
- Download, validate, and process gauge data while accurately calculating gradients and TVD-corrected pressures.
- Carry out bottom-hole sampling of reservoir fluids while strictly maintaining the proper chain of custody.
- Deliver comprehensive BHP&T summary reports and reliable data files in a timely manner.
- Maintain all gauges, batteries, and equipment calibration records to ensure optimal operational readiness.
- Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc in Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in gauge or BHP survey operations within the oil and gas sector.
- Certifications: Possession of standard offshore safety certifications; specialized gauge manufacturer training is a distinct advantage.
- Skills: Proficient in memory gauge software (such as PPS, Spartek, or DataCan), robust data quality control capabilities, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
