About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the beverage production industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Generator Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic technical team. In this critical role, you will ensure uninterrupted plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy-duty power systems to support our large-scale manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, dismantle, repair, and reassemble gas generator engines and alternators independently.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug adjustments.
- Perform comprehensive minor and major engine overhauls to extend equipment lifespan.
- Test and tune generator systems to guarantee optimal performance, fuel efficiency, and strict emissions compliance.
- Troubleshoot advanced control panels such as Deep Sea and ComAp, wiring harnesses, and excitation systems.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on professional experience in gas generator maintenance and overhaul.
- Demonstrated experience working with major industry brands like Caterpillar, Jenbacher, Cummins, or Perkins.
- Strong technical knowledge of gas fuel systems, ignition systems, and electronic governors.
- Relevant technical diploma, trade test certificate, or a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Igbesa, Ogun State, to meet operational demands.
