Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Further Mathematics lessons aligned with both the Nigerian and British curricula for secondary school students.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
  • Mentor and guide students through academic challenges, preparing them effectively for external examinations and future STEM careers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to integrate Islamic values and holistic educational practices into daily school life.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related quantitative field from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated strong subject knowledge in Advanced and Further Mathematics with a proven track record of student success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners effectively.
  • A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and shaping the moral and academic character of young minds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, functioning naturally as a collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Prior teaching experience within a dual curriculum or British international school setting will be an added advantage.
