About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) is a prominent network of science-oriented, co-educational day and boarding schools operating across Nigeria since 1998. We are currently seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and result-driven Further Mathematics Teacher to inspire our students and uphold our high academic standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Further Mathematics lessons to senior secondary school students in accordance with the Nigerian and international curricula.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and UTME, as well as local and international mathematics competitions.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement and conceptual understanding.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to address student development needs and support the overall mission of the school.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience teaching Further Mathematics in a reputable secondary school.
- Deep understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and the ability to break them down for diverse learners.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in integrating educational technology and modern teaching aids into daily lessons.
- Possession of a valid teaching license or registration with TRAN is preferred.
