About the Role
Sinomart International Limited is a modern, fast-growing retail corporation operating large-scale, comprehensive superstores designed to elevate local retail environments by delivering global quality benchmarks at competitive prices. We are currently looking for a dedicated and meticulous Furniture Installer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction by ensuring all display and customer-purchased furniture is assembled, positioned, and installed with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and install various types of residential and commercial furniture according to manufacturer specifications and blueprint designs.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all assembled items to ensure stability, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
- Handle, transport, and arrange furniture within the superstore showroom and for customer deliveries with utmost care to prevent damage.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve any installation or product issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the assembly area and during on-site installations.
- Utilize various hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete installation tasks within established timeframes.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), vocational training, or relevant technical certification in carpentry or related fields.
- Proven hands-on experience in furniture assembly and installation, preferably within a retail, warehousing, or interior design environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with the proper and safe use of standard hand and power tools.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
