About the Role
Our Lady & St. Francis Catholic College (OSCCO), Osogbo is an elite, co-educational secondary school operating under the corporate proprietorship of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our esteemed academic community in Isale Aro, Osogbo, Osun State. In this role, you will inspire students to develop linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation for the French language within a supportive Christian environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive French language lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Organize and participate in co-curricular activities, language clubs, and cultural events.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance academic standards and student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral reports.
- Possession of a relevant academic qualification in French Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Proven ability to communicate fluently in both written and spoken French and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect effectively with secondary school students.
- Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence, moral integrity, and professionalism.
- Prior teaching experience in a reputable secondary school is an added advantage.
