About the Role

Skipper Eye-Q Speciality Eye Hospital, a leading international eye care provider with a strong presence across India and Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic Floor Coordinator / Floor Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary link between clinical and non-clinical departments, driving operational excellence and delivering an outstanding patient experience from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily floor operations, monitoring patient movement through registration, consultation, diagnostics, optical, pharmacy, and billing to minimize wait times.
  • Supervise support staff, including receptionists, patient relationship executives, housekeeping, and porters, conducting daily briefings and performance monitoring.
  • Act as the primary liaison between ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses, and administrative departments for seamless service delivery.
  • Resolve patient inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring high satisfaction and maintaining escalation logs.
  • Monitor facility cleanliness, safety protocols, infection control standards, and equipment availability in compliance with hospital policies.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to hospital management.
  • Coordinate immediate response protocols and assist with procedures during medical or operational emergencies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in hospital operations, healthcare administration, or customer service management within a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in an ophthalmic or specialty healthcare facility will be a strong added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS/EMR).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills with a strong patient-centric mindset.
