We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Supervisor to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing our financial accounting functions, maintaining robust internal controls, and ensuring the absolute accuracy of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day financial accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring all financial records and documentation are readily available and compliant.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes efficiently.
- Utilize SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel tools to analyze financial data, generate insightful reports, and monitor budget variances.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory remittances, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members to enhance departmental productivity and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Must possess an active ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) professional qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years of directly relevant financial accounting experience in a structured corporate environment.
- Hands-on, proven experience in preparing comprehensive financial statements under IFRS.
- Proficiency in SAP enterprise software and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
