About the Role
mDoc Healthcare is a leading telehealth information and technology firm dedicated to transforming healthcare quality across Sub-Saharan Africa. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Specialist to join our growing team in Nigeria and help us scale our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead finance business partnership covering budgeting, product pricing, financial modelling, unit economics, and project financial reporting.
- Ensure strict compliance with contractual provisions on funded projects and grants.
- Own the complete month-end close process, including journal entries and general ledgers using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for annual statutory audits and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee accurate bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and timely payroll processing.
- Maintain highly accurate and decision-ready financial data to support executive leadership.
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in accounting, financial modelling, and financial operations.
- Ideal background includes experience in a social enterprise, the development sector, a top-tier accounting firm, or a fast-growing tech company.
- Comprehensive mastery of IFRS; US GAAP knowledge is an added advantage.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, cashflow analysis, budgeting, taxation, month-end close, and product costing.
- Possession of a recognized professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification.
