About the Role
Kaplo Africa is searching for a dynamic, highly organised, and commercially aware Finance & Operations Officer to join our client's growing team located in Lekki, Lagos. Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and comprehensive accounting records.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, schedules, and management accounts.
- Perform accurate bank, cash, receivables, and payables reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, support effective cash management, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required schedules and documentation.
- Review financial processes, identify control weaknesses, and implement robust internal controls.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance while monitoring operational expenses.
- Coordinate administrative and operational processes to guarantee seamless daily business activities.
- Liaise professionally with banks, vendors, auditors, and other relevant external stakeholders.
- Investigate financial discrepancies and deliver timely resolutions for management review.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- ICAN qualification or currently in view is strictly mandatory.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, audit, or financial operations.
- Demonstrated practical audit experience is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, numerical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Must be available to work fully onsite in Lekki, Lagos, Monday through Friday.
