About the Role
Stateside Microfinance Bank Ltd is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to provide individuals and SMEs with innovative credit, high yield investment products, payment solutions, and personal financial management tools. Guided by a strong commitment to stakeholder satisfaction and positive social impact, we are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Officer to support our expanding financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive financial and management reports on a regular basis.
- Monitor and manage expenses, payables, receivables, and overall cash flow to ensure liquidity.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis to guide business decisions.
- Ensure proper financial controls, rigorous documentation, and adherence to company policies.
- Support statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements in collaboration with external bodies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all business transactions.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Must be ICAN or ACA qualified.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the banking, microfinance, or broader financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
