Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily recording and posting of financial transactions into the company accounting system or ERP.
- Process payment vouchers, expense claims, and petty cash transactions with proper authorization and documentation.
- Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy in amounts, coding, and proper matching against purchase orders.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable register and structured filing system.
- Perform routine daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
- Support management reviews, internal audits, and general financial reporting processes.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Applied Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 0 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern accounting or financial software.
- Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ICAN or ACCA will be a distinct advantage.
