About the Role
IBIC Investment Holdings, a diversified investment firm with interests in real estate, agriculture, and lifestyle services, is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial management, controls, and strategic growth of our premium and luxury restaurant business. You will partner with operational and culinary leaders to optimize food and beverage costing, ensure rigorous inventory control, and drive bottom-line profitability across our hospitality ventures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations for the restaurant business.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, gross margins, labor expenses, and operating overhead.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial planning initiatives.
- Oversee inventory management, stock reconciliation, waste tracking, and variance analysis.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
- Analyze sales and operational metrics to provide actionable commercial insights to management.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, kitchen, and F&B teams to enhance profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate potential financial risks.
- Facilitate month-end closings, account reconciliations, and statutory audit processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, specifically within the restaurant or F&B sector.
- Deep expertise in restaurant costing, inventory control, and profitability analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing comprehensive management accounts and financial reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software or ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
