About the Role
The Elevation Church is seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring seamless enterprise resource planning software management. Key Responsibilities- Perform daily financial postings into the organization Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software accurately.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank transactions against system postings and escalate failed transactions promptly.
- Generate general ledger reports, trial balances, and comprehensive bank reconciliation statements.
- Provide general accounting support to the finance team and liaise with the Finance Officer for assistance.
- Ensure proper document filing, perform basic office machine operations, and handle official office deliveries as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals while maintaining strict financial integrity.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software, modern accounting procedures, and standard practices.
- Proficiency in word processing and advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and self-management capabilities with high personal integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
