About the Role
Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is seeking a dedicated and analytical Finance Intern to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. FRAD is a registered non-profit organization established in 2019 with the sole aim of promoting social services through community development, building resilience among vulnerable populations such as women and children, and reducing illiteracy. In this role, you will work closely with our finance department to ensure accurate record-keeping, transparent financial reporting, and efficient resource allocation for impactful community projects. Key Responsibilities- Assist the finance team in day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation and processing of payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Help compile financial reports and documentation for audits and donor reviews.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems for all financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in tracking project expenses against approved budgets.
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure proper documentation of project-related financial activities.
- Perform other administrative and finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Recent graduate or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of integrity, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced multicultural non-profit environment.
