About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and analytical Finance Controller to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will act as the vital bridge between Head Office Finance and boutique operations, ensuring financial integrity, robust internal controls, and seamless operational alignment across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with boutique managers on financial and operational matters.
- Monitor sales and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee cash handling and cash reconciliations.
- Review stock movements and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate sales, cash and stock variances.
- Strengthen financial controls and ensure policy compliance.
- Prepare boutique financial and management reports.
- Support month-end closing and audit activities.
- Act as the bridge between Head Office Finance and boutique operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is a distinct advantage.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in financial control, retail finance, audit or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in cash, sales, and inventory reconciliation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills coupled with robust financial analysis capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of internal controls and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Prior experience in luxury retail, fashion, FMCG, or multi-location retail is highly advantageous.
