About the Role
AUT Energy Resources Limited is a leading indigenous Nigerian oil, gas, engineering, construction, and logistics servicing company dedicated to operational excellence. We are currently looking for a competent Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Field Technician to execute the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and electrical systems within industrial and oil and gas facilities across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Install, calibrate, test, and maintain a wide range of instrumentation and electrical equipment in industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex instrumentation and control system failures efficiently.
- Perform critical loop checks, system commissioning, and functional testing procedures.
- Maintain transmitters, switches, analyzers, control valves, and PLC-related equipment.
- Interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation accurately.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and responsive corrective maintenance activities.
- Provide vital support during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major commissioning projects.
- Ensure absolute compliance with all company and client Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance and calibration records.
- Possess an OND, HND, Technical Diploma, or Trade Certification in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must hold valid HSE 1, 2, and 3 certifications.
- Bring 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience working in oil and gas or heavy industrial environments.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of field instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Possess a deep understanding of standard calibration procedures and instrument testing techniques.
