About the Role
Advancing Health for Humanitarian Support Initiative (AIDHealth Inc.) is a non-profit organization committed to bridging healthcare gaps for vulnerable populations across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Supervisor to oversee data collection activities, ensure rigorous research standards, and lead our field enumerators in Northern Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of four enumerators through household listing and systematic household selection within assigned enumeration areas.
- Assign interviews strategically, ensuring women interview women and men interview men, with one parent per household.
- Accompany 5 percent of all interviews and rigorously review completed tablet forms daily for quality assurance.
- Manage up to three revisits per household while accurately recording full contact details for future follow-up.
- Maintain strict team safety protocols and report any incidents or safeguarding concerns on the same day.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven experience supervising household surveys on tablets using KoboToolbox or SurveyCTO in Northern Nigeria.
- Demonstrated experience conducting surveys on sensitive topics such as health, gender, or protection.
- Must currently reside in Kano and possess full fluency in both Hausa and English.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with panel or follow-up surveys and previous work with international research organizations.
- Exceptional leadership, calm problem-solving abilities in the field, absolute honesty, and deep respect for participants and local leaders.
