About the Role
Solar Turbines, a global leader in innovative energy solutions and industrial gas turbine manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Representative II to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical technical and administrative role, you will deliver best-in-class life-cycle support, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our gas turbine packages for clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure strict compliance with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies, including work permit systems and toolbox safety meetings.
- Perform on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection services, call-out services, and commissioning activities on Solar gas turbine packages.
- Proactively identify electrical and mechanical abnormalities to prevent equipment damage and maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide comprehensive daily reports on project progress, equipment histories, and maintenance activities to management and clients.
- Manage parts and material requisitions efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
- Utilize the Work Force Management (WFM) process and system for work orders, task libraries, and data tracking.
- Coordinate cross-disciplined maintenance tasks, assisting operations and maintenance crews as required.
- Completed a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent professional technical training period.
- Hold a relevant technical qualification such as a Degree, HNC/HND, ONC, City & Guilds, Aviation Engineer’s license, or Marine Engineer’s Certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a related energy or industrial maintenance industry.
- Essential proven experience working in an overseas or offshore environment with rotating equipment and PLC systems.
- Strong working knowledge of gas turbine theory, operational practices, and control system logic.
- Possess or be willing to obtain required offshore medical and survival certifications.
