About the Role
Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited is a leading provider of engineering, project support, and technical manpower services to the global oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Operator III to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in operating equipment and wells while adhering strictly to industry safety guidelines, maximizing efficiency, and minimizing equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Implement daily work objectives focusing on housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security standards.
- Actively participate in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety briefings.
- Perform continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to identify and implement corrective and optimization actions.
- Execute routine maintenance activities as an Equipment Care Technician and monitor maintenance schedules.
- Take product samples for laboratory analysis and conduct field tests.
- Report all relevant operational events, abnormal situations, and incidents in the log book and escalate as required.
- Provide comprehensive support for well intervention operations and maintain wellhead equipment in optimal working order.
- Completed secondary education with proven prior experience as a Field Technician in the oil and gas sector.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in pipeline operations and safety management tools.
- Strong understanding of emergency preparedness procedures and relevant industry regulations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High standard of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aptitude.
