About the Role
Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE, a global humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger, is seeking an experienced Field Coordinator based in Katsina. You will provide strategic leadership, program delivery, operational support, security management, and government engagement to ensure impactful humanitarian interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop ACF programming, ensuring integrated recovery programming and proper Project Cycle Management (PCM).
- Oversee safety and security protocols for all ACF personnel, assets, and premises in coordination with the Area Coordinator and Security HoD.
- Provide overall accountability for field-level Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics departments, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and national labor laws.
- Represent ACF externally in Katsina, engaging with government bodies, local partners, and sector-level coordination mechanisms.
- Support local implementing partners through capacity building, mapping, and joint coordination to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure timely, high-quality reporting, capitalization, and implementation of accountability and complaint mechanisms.
- Degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, International Development, Humanitarian Response, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with INGOs in complex or insecure contexts (ACF emergency experience is a strong asset).
- Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, multicultural staff management, and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
