We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Fashion Tutor to join our vibrant academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of creative designers by delivering structured, high-quality instruction in both theoretical and practical aspects of fashion design. Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students across beginner, intermediate, and advanced fashion classes.
- Deliver comprehensive lessons on advanced pattern drafting, garment construction, and design techniques.
- Instruct students on the professional creation of complex garments, including corsets, tailored blazers, and trousers.
- Demonstrate the safe and efficient operation of industrial sewing and weaving machines.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a supportive learning environment.
- Manage classroom activities effectively while working independently and meeting curriculum objectives under pressure.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, HND, or BSc in Fashion, Design, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on professional tailoring experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience teaching in a recognized fashion school.
- Advanced proficiency in pattern drafting and professional garment finishing.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, patience, versatility, and high emotional intelligence.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing and weaving machines expertly.
