We are currently looking for a proactive Facility Manager to ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and functionality across our facilities in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of company and client facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Supervise facility staff, technicians, cleaners, security personnel, and third-party service providers.
- Plan and coordinate both preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to proactively identify faults, safety risks, and maintenance requirements.
- Manage vendors and contractors, ensuring all work adheres to agreed quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor facility-related expenses, manage maintenance costs, and coordinate the procurement of necessary tools and consumables.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and facility management statutory standards.
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies, equipment breakdowns, and operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance logs, asset registers, and incident reports.
- Liaise effectively with clients, management, and stakeholders to drive continuous service improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree in Estate Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in facility management or operations.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, maintenance planning, and budget tracking.
