About the Role
Firewood Rice Nigeria is a rapidly growing culinary brand dedicated to delivering authentic comfort, flavor, and unforgettable dining experiences across Lagos. We are currently looking for a proactive and experienced Facility Management Lead to oversee and optimize the physical infrastructure of our multiple restaurant outlets, ensuring seamless daily operations and a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise all facility-related operations across multiple restaurant outlets, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, reduce operational costs, and extend asset life.
- Source, vet, and manage external vendors and contractors, negotiating cost-effective service level agreements.
- Oversee waste management, sanitation activities, and compliance documentation, including safety permits, licenses, and local regulations.
- Prepare and manage facility maintenance budgets, tracking fixed assets, inventory, and equipment utilization.
- Act as the primary incident responder for facility emergencies such as power outages or major equipment breakdowns, establishing robust contingency plans.
- Train outlet staff on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and effective facility-reporting practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in facility management, ideally within the hospitality, food production, or multi-outlet retail sector.
- Strong technical proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and commercial kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget administration.
- Familiarity with Nigerian safety regulations, compliance documentation, and emergency protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized maintenance tracking systems, paired with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
