We are currently seeking a dedicated Facility Electrician to join our dynamic engineering and maintenance team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and execute prompt corrective repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of electrical maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment repair history.
- Comply strictly with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standard operating procedures while executing electrical tasks.
- Collaborate with other technical and production teams to support plant improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test Certificate, or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience as an electrician, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
