About the Role
Teestone Hotels & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Experienced Laundry Personnel to join our dedicated housekeeping team and ensure our guests experience pristine cleanliness throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, towels, staff uniforms, and guest laundry efficiently.
- Operate and properly maintain commercial laundry washing and drying machinery.
- Inspect all laundered items meticulously for stains, tears, or wear and tear, reporting issues to management.
- Handle guest laundry requests promptly and strictly according to hotel security and service protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free laundry work area at all times.
- Monitor chemical and detergent inventory levels, notifying management in advance for replenishment.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and workplace hygiene standards.
- Assist with routine linen inventory counts, stock organization, and general housekeeping duties when required.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in laundry operations within a hotel, hospitality, or commercial laundry facility.
- Demonstrated ability to operate professional laundry equipment and pressing machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to high-quality standards.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy laundry loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with housekeeping staff.
