About the Role
Fatgbems Petroleum Company Limited, a prominent and rapidly expanding independent petroleum marketing company in Nigeria, is seeking a professional and reliable Executive Driver. In this role, you will provide secure and punctual transportation services for our company executives, ensuring utmost discretion, safety, and adherence to traffic regulations while maintaining the assigned corporate vehicle in pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities- Transport executives safely and punctually to official meetings, business appointments, and designated locations.
- Plan efficient routes using advanced knowledge of Lagos roads and monitor real-time traffic conditions.
- Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the assigned vehicle at all times.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting faults and maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, licenses, and insurance papers remain valid and up to date.
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain accurate, up-to-date logs for fuel and vehicle maintenance.
- Comply strictly with Nigerian traffic laws, road safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding executive schedules and sensitive company information.
- Show flexibility to work occasional weekends, after-hours, and embark on out-of-town assignments when necessary.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification or equivalent educational background.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable professional experience working as an Executive or Corporate Driver.
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos road networks, traffic rules, and major routes.
- Exceptional defensive driving skills coupled with basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
- Uncompromising integrity, punctuality, strong interpersonal skills, and professional grooming.
- Strict residency requirement: Applicants must reside within Amuwo-Odofin, Festac Town, Ago Palace Way, or their immediate environs.
