About the Role

Beyond Energy Resources Limited (BERL) is a leading service provider in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Upstream sector. Established in 2002, we are currently seeking a dedicated professional for the Executive Associate, Finance and Strategy role. This position offers a unique senior support and analysis function with a clear, structured path into executive leadership, combining financial management, strategic planning, and cross-functional project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Managing Director in day-to-day management, strategic planning, and execution of key business initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, budget variance reports, and weekly rolling cash-flow forecasts.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, working capital requirements, and statutory tax and pension compliance.
  • Contribute to tender pricing, commercial proposals, vendor due diligence, and procurement analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and business intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain internal controls in collaboration with external accountants and designated finance leads.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant post-NYSC experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Completed or advanced professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness, analytical judgment, discretion, and leadership potential.
