Muslim Community Centre (MCC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our dynamic educational institution. Fou'ad Lababidi Islamic Academy (FLIA), our flagship secondary school established in 1995, has consistently achieved 89-100% distinction and credit ratings in WAEC/NECO examinations. We are recruiting qualified English educators to maintain this excellence and contribute to our students' academic success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive English language instruction to secondary school students
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student welfare and academic excellence
- Utilize e-learning facilities and modern teaching technologies in classroom instruction
- Bachelor's Degree or NCE in English or related discipline
- Proficiency in computer literacy (mandatory)
- Teacher Registration Council (TRC/TRON) certificate (advantageous)
- Previous teaching experience (preferred)
