Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons aligned with both the Nigerian and British curricula.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress while providing constructive, actionable feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support the spiritual, academic, mental, and social development of students.
- Participate actively in extracurricular activities, school events, and continuous professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate academic records and meet administrative deadlines promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in English Education or a closely related field; relevant teaching certifications are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching both Nigerian and international (British) curricula.
- Proficiency in deploying educational technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
