About the Role
Muvaais International School is a reputable private educational institution located in Lagos, Nigeria, renowned for offering comprehensive youth programs, academic coaching, and specialized holiday and summer coaching classes. We successfully integrate foundational Western academics with robust Arabic and Qur'an education. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified English Language Teacher to join our esteemed team and contribute to the holistic development of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English language lessons tailored to primary and secondary school students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and regular reports to parents and school administration.
- Integrate modern ICT tools and innovative teaching methodologies into daily lesson plans to enhance student engagement.
- Uphold and promote the school's commitment to Islamic ethics, moral uprightness, and good character both inside and outside the classroom.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and specialized academic programs including holiday and summer coaching sessions.
- Possession of an NCE, B.Ed., B.A., or B.Sc. degree, supported by a PGDE or a recognized equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven prior experience teaching English language in a primary or secondary education setting is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong aptitude for effective classroom management.
- Proficiency in using ICT and modern digital tools for educational purposes.
