About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and oil and gas support services in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Wellwork Supervisor III to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will provide essential planning and onsite supervision to support the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of wellwork, workover, and well intervention operations at the wellhead platform.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for execution readiness and directly supervise Service Partner personnel across all operational stages.
- Communicate and uphold rigorous Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) expectations, providing guidance during incidents.
- Monitor wellwork operations to ensure strict adherence to approved procedures, management of change processes, and emergency protocols.
- Verify that all equipment and supplies match program specifications, and oversee rigorous rig-up, function, and pressure testing of BOP equipment.
- Troubleshoot evolving operational issues to determine root causes, generate accurate daily reports, and capture valuable lessons learned.
- Mentor early-career supervisors, production operators, and engineers while coordinating relevant formal training sessions.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, including supervisory roles in wellwork, workover, rigless intervention, or hydraulic workover unit operations.
- Prior working experience with an operator, slickline, coiled tubing, or wireline service provider.
- Current and valid Well Control certification.
- Strong understanding of oil and gas operational risks, QA/QC standards, and well integrity management systems.
