About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical staffing, inspection, and oil and gas support services, committed to delivering global best practices across Nigeria's energy sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Rig Supervisor III to join our dynamic team in Rivers State. In this critical on-site role, you will act as our primary company representative, ensuring all drilling and completion operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with approved well plans and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the company on-site to oversee safe and efficient well plan execution and coordinate all rig-related activities.
- Communicate and uphold rigorous Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) expectations, leading emergency response and safety drills.
- Monitor daily rig operations, ensuring optimal well control procedures and adherence to approved drilling and completion programs.
- Manage logistics for equipment and third-party services to maintain operational continuity and minimize downtime.
- Provide crucial oversight in specialized areas such as kick detection, abnormal pressure, mud properties, and solids control.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and geology teams to align operational activities with project objectives and generate accurate daily reports.
- Extensive professional experience in rig supervisory or leadership roles within drilling and completion operations.
- Demonstrated background working with a major oil and gas Operator or Drilling Contractor.
- Current and valid certification for Well Control.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian oil and gas industry standards, safety protocols, and operational best practices.
