About the Role
Intelligence Properties is a leading multidisciplinary property service company incorporated in Nigeria, providing bespoke real estate solutions to owners, occupiers, and investors. We are currently seeking a competent and results-driven Engineer to join our dynamic team and provide technical oversight on our construction and property development projects, ensuring superior quality, strict safety compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site to ensure adherence to approved standards.
- Ensure all works comply with approved architectural drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards.
- Review engineering and architectural drawings to identify technical issues or discrepancies proactively.
- Coordinate seamlessly with architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, and project consultants.
- Monitor workmanship, building materials, overall quality, and construction progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive progress reports for management.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and construction-related challenges promptly.
- Monitor project schedules closely and support timely project delivery within budgets.
- Review contractors’ work output to ensure proper execution and compliance with agreements.
- Assist with material requirements forecasting and manage technical documentation.
- Promote strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
- Provide expert technical advice to management as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in construction or real estate development within Nigeria.
- Strong working knowledge of modern construction methods, building materials, and site practices.
- Proven ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of project coordination, quality control, and site management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in AutoCAD is a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Possession of COREN or relevant professional registration is highly advantageous.
- Willingness and readiness to travel to various project sites when required.
