About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), a premier educational institution managed by the First Surat Group, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrician to join our dedicated facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-powered environment for our students, staff, and campus community across our school facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting fixtures across school buildings and residential hostels.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and promptly resolve power outages or equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with safety codes, standards, and institutional regulations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to execute facilities improvement projects and routine preventive maintenance schedules.
- Keep accurate records of electrical supplies, repairs made, and maintenance work performed.
- Graduates of technical schools with at least two years of formal technical training will be given strong preference.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on work experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Must possess high levels of trustworthiness, reliability, and responsibility.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
