About the Role

Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited is a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing group dedicated to delivering high-quality and affordable healthcare products across Nigeria and the West African coast. We are currently seeking a proactive and technically sound Electrical Engineer / Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous and safe performance of critical electrical infrastructure, aligning with global regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance and corrective actions on electrical panels, control systems, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure, including backup power systems, switchgear, lighting, motors, and distribution boards.
  • Coordinate the installation and commissioning of electrical components for new equipment and system upgrades.
  • Support the troubleshooting and rapid resolution of electrical faults in close coordination with production and QA/QC teams.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment and maintenance practices strictly comply with GMP, WHO, and NAFDAC standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive electrical documentation, equipment manuals, and system diagrams to support regulatory audits.
  • Monitor electrical energy consumption and propose actionable strategies for efficiency improvement and operational cost reduction.
Qualifications
  • B.Eng., HND, OND, or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, complemented by NABTEB or Trade Test 1, 2, and 3 certifications.
  • Proven professional experience in electrical maintenance within a pharmaceutical, FMCG, or high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on expertise in electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance procedures, and industrial safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, SCADA interfaces, and complex power distribution layouts.
  • Strong documentation skills and a commitment to maintaining rigorous compliance standards.
