About the Role
Petroexcel Technology Services (P) Limited is a globally recognized engineering and procurement leader dedicated to the oil, energy, and heavy industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in Pipe Mill operations to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced electrical systems within our manufacturing and processing facilities, contributing to landmark infrastructure projects across the energy value chain.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee electrical maintenance operations for pipe mill equipment, spiral pipe mills, and heavy industrial machinery.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and programming of PLC and VFD systems to optimize industrial automation.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Participate in production planning and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all electrical installations and repairs.
- Implement proactive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime in rolling mills and steel plant environments.
- Provide technical expertise during the installation and commissioning of new plant equipment and processing facilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated professional experience working within Pipe Mills, Spiral Pipe Mills, Steel Plants, or Heavy Industrial Projects.
- Strong working knowledge of PLC/VFD, industrial automation, electrical maintenance, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with production operations, quality control protocols, and technical documentation in manufacturing environments.
