About the Role
ADKAN Services Nigeria Limited is a wholly indigenous construction company dedicated to building Nigeria's future through patriotic and exceptional project execution. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, reviewing, and supervising comprehensive electrical installations for a wide range of residential and commercial building projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Design, review, and supervise electrical installations for residential, commercial, and other building projects.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Coordinate electrical works seamlessly with structural, mechanical, architectural, and other project teams.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and strict compliance with approved drawings and regulations.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety requirements, and deadlines.
- Identify and resolve electrical design and site-related technical issues promptly.
- Review electrical materials, equipment, and technical submissions for project compliance.
- Monitor project progress and prepare comprehensive technical reports as required.
- Ensure proper implementation of electrical safety standards and relevant building codes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering within the construction, real estate, or building services industry.
- Professional registration with COREN or eligibility for immediate registration is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant electrical design and engineering software.
- Sound knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, earthing, lightning protection, and backup power systems.
- Strong site supervision, contractor coordination, quality control, and project documentation skills.
