About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems within our processing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining industrial electrical equipment and strong problem-solving abilities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation equipment, including industrial motor controls and pump drives.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical equipment, appliances, machinery, and control systems down to the component level.
- Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of control centres, high-voltage equipment, and high-voltage motors.
- Maintain engine generators, associated control circuit equipment, and building electrical circuits.
- Maintain and troubleshoot alarm systems, VFDs, soft starters, pneumatic and electronic controls, and programmable control systems.
- Conduct thermographic inspections of electrical distribution panels and motor control systems.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical machinery, equipment, and electronic control systems.
- Practical knowledge of industrial motor controls, pump drives, generators, VFDs, soft starters, and control systems.
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
