About the Role

We are looking for a skilled EGTL Console Operator for our Product Work-Up Refining Unit at Escravos, where you will play a vital role in maintaining safety, reliability, and optimal plant performance.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor the EGTL console to execute daily shift plans, including start-ups and controlled shutdowns.
- Manage plant process upsets and emergencies promptly using requisite technical knowledge and competencies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure process control devices function safely and efficiently.
- Develop and review operating and emergency procedures for the assigned refining area.
- Report abnormal conditions and equipment deviations to ensure optimum availability.
- Conduct routine operator duties and maintain comprehensive shift turnover notes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified Field Operator in a refinery or complex process facility.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Completion of specific unit or Area Formal Operator Training Program (FOTP) and QRB requirements.
- Strong knowledge of process safety hazards, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Asset integrity understanding and OPITO or similar craft certification are distinct advantages.
