About the Role
EIDU provides an open and comprehensive digital platform and on-the-ground support that ensures rapid, reliable, and cost-effective implementation. The RCT-validated platform connects and supports all key stakeholders of an education system—students, teachers, in-service teacher trainers, and management—with the tools they need to improve learning outcomes. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Education Officer to join our team in Gombe and play a pivotal role in strategically enhancing education in public and private schools through the effective rollout of EIDU Digital Learning Programs.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate teacher training, onboarding, and continuous support to ensure the successful implementation of the EIDU Program across schools.
- Train school staff and government education officers on leveraging the EIDU Field App and dashboards for efficient planning, execution, and reporting.
- Act as a key liaison between EIDU and state-level stakeholders, nurturing productive relationships to advocate for impactful teacher training.
- Conduct regular school visits to observe program implementation, provide constructive feedback, and ensure child protection standards are met.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on training sessions, field activities, and school visits to executive leaders.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in training and 2 years in team management.
- Strong ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, CRM or issue management systems, and Android smartphones.
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning methodologies, mentorship, and coaching.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English and Hausa.
